A weekend full of highlights
May 3, 2012
Last weekend saw some brilliant summer weather– we decided to check in and see how our Eat the Ball athletes are doing!
In China it was our beach volleyball team who once again sent sparks flying. At the FIVB Grand Slam qualifiers in Shanghai, Xandi Huber and Robin Seidl once again showed off their skills in the sand and catapulted themselves into the main event by qualifying with two wins over Turkish and Swiss teams.
Our motorports rookie Dodo Kraihamer was busy preparing for this coming weekend’s race in Belgium, where the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is offering some serious World Endurance action. He has recovered from his injury and is looking great! Good luck this weekend, Dodo!
Last but not least, things are also going great for our football pros. While Laurinho Walch and the Vikings recorded a 58-6 victory against the AFC Kornmesser Rangers on Sunday, Andreas Hofbauer put in an outstanding performance. The running back’s 12 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown helped the Swarco Raiders record a 33-0 win over the JLC Giants Graz on Saturday.
Eat the Ball congratulates all athletes on their success – and we’re already looking forward to the next highlights update!
